Community Fund Raisers & Special Events

Hamilton Food Share would not exist without the cast of thousands from the community who donate generously. Groups and organizations representing diverse sectors of the community have joined in the fight against hunger.

The United Steelworkers of America, The Royal Bank, and The Potters' Guild of Hamilton and Region are just a few examples of the many organizations in our community that host special events throughout the year to raise much-needed funds for Hamilton Food Share.

The Potters' Guild Annual "Empty Bowls Event", has raised $110,458.00 in six years! This in turn has helped Hamilton Food Share raise more than $552,290.00 worth of food to help feed the 18,600 people who turn to a food bank every month in our community.
