Community Fund Raisers & Special Events

Hamilton Food Share would not exist without the cast of thousands from the community who donate generously. Groups and organizations representing diverse sectors of the community have joined in the fight against hunger.

The United Steelworkers of America, The Royal Bank and The Potters’ Guild “Empty Bowls Event”, are just a few examples of the many events that take place throughout the year raising much needed funds for Hamilton Food Share.

The Potters’ Guild Annual “Empty Bowls Event”, has raised more than $41,000 in three years! This in turn has helped Hamilton Food Share raise more than $410,000 worth of food to help feed the 15,748 people who turn to a food bank every month in our community.
