Empty Bowls 2018 – Pottery Sale in Dundas

You are invited to the 14th annual EMPTY BOWLS sale at the Hamilton Potters Guild Fall Sale Friday, November 2nd to Sunday, November 4th.

Doors open at 3:00 on Friday for a gorgeous pottery sale with gifts in all price ranges, including Empty Bowls being sold by the potters to benefit those in need in our community.

Choose a soup bowl from hundreds of handmade soup bowls, made by many of your favorite local potters. Your $25 will buy a beautiful soup bowl and allow Hamilton Food Share to provide $125 worth of food.

Start a soup bowl collection for yourself, purchase a soup bowl for a friend, give a soup bowl to a neighbour, take a soup bowl as a hostess gift…before you know it you have purchased 5 unique soup bowls and helped raise $625 worth of food.

EMPTY BOWLS is an international project to fight hunger and it takes place annually in many cities around the world. The basic idea for Empty Bowls is simple. Potters make and donate ceramic soup bowls. Guests choose and buy a soup bowl for $25, as a reminder that there are always Empty Bowls in the world. All proceeds from the sale of these soup bowls will be donated to Hamilton Food Share, our charity of choice.
