15th Annual Empty Bowls – Hamilton Potter’s Guild Fall Sale

You are invited to the 15th annual EMPTY BOWLS sale at the Hamilton Potters Guild Fall Sale from Friday, November 1st to Sunday, November 3rd.

Doors open at 3:00 on Friday for a gorgeous pottery sale with gifts in all price ranges, including Empty Bowls being sold by the potters to benefit those in need in our community.

Choose a soup bowl from hundreds of handmade soup bowls, made by many of your favorite local potters. Your $30 will buy a beautiful soup bowl and allow Hamilton Food Share to provide $150 worth of food.

Start a soup bowl collection for yourself, purchase a soup bowl for a friend, give a soup bowl to a neighbour, take a soup bowl as a hostess gift…before you know it you have purchased 5 unique soup bowls and helped raise $750 worth of food.

EMPTY BOWLS is an international project to fight hunger and it takes place annually in many cities around the world. The basic idea for Empty Bowls is simple. Potters make and donate ceramic soup bowls. Guests choose and buy a soup bowl for $30, as a reminder that there are always Empty Bowls in the world. All proceeds from the sale of these soup bowls will be donated to Hamilton Food Share.
