Holiday train coming this weekend

Not far from Ottawa Street, people are getting ready to welcome the CP Holiday Train.

It’s coming to Hamilton as part of its 15th anniversary celebration.

The train will pull into Lawrence Road at around 4pm Saturday just across the street from Gage Park.
Live music begins at 5, and includes performances by Canadian Music Hall of Famer Tom Cochrane, Great Big Sea, and Natalie MacMaster.
Donations will be accepted for Hamilton Food Share. Each year two trains visit 150 communities across Canada and the U.S. The holiday tradition has raised over 7-million dollars and nearly 1.5 million kilograms of food since 1990.
